Thanks. Well of how I animate like this is actually hard to explain. I took one animation course but they teach more toward western style animation with the more uses of rounded shapes, squish movements, and shape morphs (the figure's chest expands drastically when it inhales).

After analyzing a lot of anime, I was constantly deconstructing them by taking screenshots and watching them frame by frame. Anime is much more depended on square shapes, very low squish movements, less shape morphs (unless it goes into chibi mode). I'd say its nearly 3D but yet its not. Here an example of how I animate:

This took a year because I wanted to make the art to look just right (also I procrastinated a lot). This whole project intentionally started as several animation tests but it grew into what it is now. Because of that, it lacked a story so I was hoping the animation quality would compensate for that. Now with what I learn, I could animate faster. Thank for watching! This daily feature is all luck because the second place was actually better because of his direction and story. Hes score is actually higher than mine right now.
